Doug WilsonDoug Wilson was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund in 2022.

He is recently retired, having worked for 35 years with Frost Bank. He had been serving in an executive role in the bank’s Tarrant County Region, and previously served as the bank’s market president for the Fort Worth market.

Before joining Frost, Doug worked for a regional Fort Worth bank, and later served as president of Summit Bank-Downtown. He retired with 40 years of experience in the banking industry.

Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Texas Tech University. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma and served as an instructor for the American Institute of Banking.

Active in his community, Doug currently serves on the board for Trinity Terrace, a continuing care retirement facility in Fort Worth. He also serves on the board of Pacific Retirement Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Oregon. Doug is a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth and has also served as one of its board of directors, including the position of past Board President.

Doug and his wife, Cheryl, are active members of Christ Chapel in Fort Worth, and he has served on the church’s elder board for six years.

Doug is Chair of the Fund's Board of Trustees. He also serves on the Disability Committee, the Investment Committee, and the Audit & Budget Committee.
